Police Caution Businesses Looking to Stay Cool
Despite the recent heat wave, the Fayetteville Police Department  encourages businesses to keep regularly locked doors secure.  Leaving doors open, for ventilation purposes, increases the likelihood of the business becoming a victim. 

Police would like to offer the following suggestions:

 
  • Invest in an additional and/or more efficient air-conditioning system.   
  • Consider using additional fans.
  • Consider opening the front door instead of the rear door. 
  • If you must leave a door open, have an employee guard the door.
